My faith has found a resting place

Assurance and Joy of Salvation Secured by Divine Provisions

English330
1
My faith has found a resting place,
Not in device nor creed;
I trust the Ever-living One,
His wounds for me shall plead.

I need no other argument,
I need no other plea;
It is enough that Jesus died,
And that He died for me.
2
Enough for me that Jesus saves,
This ends my fear and doubt;
A sinful soul I come to Him,
He’ll never cast me out.
3
My heart is leaning on the Word,
The written Word of God,
Salvation by my Savior’s name,
Salvation through His blood.
4
My great Physician heals the sick,
The lost He came to save;
For me His precious blood He shed,
For me His life He gave.

In a world filled with doubts, fears, and hostility, it is so wonderful that "it is enough that Jesus died and rose again for me." What glorious Freedom in His Name! Hallelujah!

It's my best hymn. I can sing it over and over and over and over again. Whenever I sing it, tears flow down my cheeks and my heart melts to the love of God through Christ Jesus.

Indeed God is good because we need no argument and plea. The blood has set us free.

Simply beautiful. It is just beautiful that I need no other argument not even a plea. It is enough that Jesus died for me. All I need is to step into the salvation, live the word of God and at the end I become joint heirs with Christ. Beautiful, simply awesome is this love!
