Praise You Lord Jesus, thank You for everything! Blessed be Your Holy Name forever and ever, the King above all Kings. Guide us as we look forward to Your second coming. You reign forever Lord, I love You!!
Robert Lowry wrote both the words and music to this hymn in 1874. At the time, he was professor of literature at Bucknell University in Pennsylvania and was pastor of a nearby church. He had written other hymn tunes and texts as he practiced his passion for poetry and song. "Sometimes the music comes and the words follow," he explained once. "I watch my moods, and when anything strikes me, whether words or music, no matter where I am, at home, on the street, I jot it down. My brain is sort of a spinning machine, for there is music running through it all the time." - Great Songs of Faith by Brown and Norton
You know it is wonderful that we have a Lord that lead in our fight daily, He already conquered, He died, He defeated death and He rose again; He has life in Him and He gave freely to everyone that ask of Him. Thank You Jesus our Lord.
How wonderful our Lord Jesus that even the death cannot prevent Him for His resurrection. O Lord Jesus thank You for Your victorious resurrection and we are part of it. Hallelujah... Amen, Christ is victory....
