Look away into His face—Hallelujah, He who’ll finish what He did begin. O what grace to run the race—Hallelujah— We obtain by looking off to Him!

The best solution to all our problems and situations is just to look away to Him! This hymn was such a help to me in realizing that nothing else matters and that we should just be those who run the race set before us with endurance. The Lord will finish what he did begin! Let us all be those who finish the race! Praise the Lord!
I like the first stanza and chorus. There is a race for all of us to run, and we must run it. 1 Cor. 9:24-27. The is a way for us to race to win. “Look away to Him. ” Hebrews 121-2.
Verse 5 is a real key. We can look away from everything to Him. But as soon as we say that, we realize how bad we need His grace to even look away to Him.
We need to learn to look away from all the things in our environment, look away from our failures in the past, and look away even from our good experiences, so that we may freshly run the race with endurance and gain more Christ! Hallelujah!
“Seek Jehovah and his strength. Seek His face continually. ” Psalm 105:4
“Looking away unto Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down on the right hand of the throne of God. ” Hebrews 12:2
