I’ve Kissed the Son
Kiss the Son, kiss the One Who for love to me has come, Cheering me, charming me, And has died upon the tree, He died for me, saving me, Now His Spirit joins to me, I’ve kissed the Son! |

As I listen to this hymn for first time, I am literally in tears!
This hymn like all other beautiful hymns adoring our God, our Lord and the Spirit has touched my heart and brought me so much joy to rejoice even more in the Lord for His divine grace and mercy and for His gift of salvation made available for a wretched worm as I am.
Kiss the Son, kiss the One
Who for love to me has come,
Cheering me, charming me,
And has died upon the tree,
He died for me, saving me,
Now His Spirit joins to me,
I’ve kissed the Son!

In Strong's concordance the Greek word commonly translate worship is proskynéō /prós, "towards" and kyneo, "to kiss"
The true worship God desires is that we kiss Him. To kiss the Son as in Psalm 2 is to love Him and to love Him is to enjoy Him.
Let us love Him with our whole being and with our full attention. "And you shall love the Lord Your God from your whole heart and from your whole soul and from your whole mind and from your whole strength."
