This hymn has been running through my mind over the last week and is giving me great peace. I pity those growing up in church today that will never benefit from the rich heritage of the hymns of the previous generation. Lots of great music today, sure it's great, but I really think that we've suffered a loss in abandoning the hymnal with hymns that tell a story.
