I love this hymn. Thank God for it. I can tell Jesus my burdens and problems and He listens. His Spirit is so comforting, no person can compare. I am but a passer thru in this life, and my treasures wait in the life to come, thanks be to Jesus for His immeasurable gift 🎁
I woke up this morning and God put this song on my heart. God already knows my burdens and anxieties. He only can give me peace in the middle of a storm . I will tell Jesus! These words give me hope. The Bible says, the name of the Lord is a strong tower. The righteous run to it and are safe.
When I am wrongly accused by my own family for no reason, I sing this song to myself for I know that Jesus is my righteous Advocate. I don’t need to justify myself!
My 46 year old son had a stroke 3 1/2 months ago. It was 20 days after my breast cancer surgery. I was unable to get to the doctor for about 6 months God has done such an amazing work in both of us. But JESUS knows all and I have to dig deep every day and allow myself to be a humble woman. God is certainly on The Throne!!
I found myself in a financial mess. Facing financial embarrassment at work.. In my confusion on what to do, this song came to my mind, y late. Aunty would always sing this and believe so much. I didn't know the wordings so I looked it up. This is me saying Jesus, help me through this difficult time I cannot do this on my own🙏🙏😭😭😭
This morning, I was in my car when I heard this song on the radio, it’s a beautiful song. I knew God was speaking to me and telling me to tell all my fears, doubts and anxieties to Jesus. It was an assurance and confirmation!
I went to visit my mom who is now in skilled nursing as I stood and watched her as looked confused and dismayed this song came in my spirit and began to sing it to her and she slowly calmed down 🙏
1. I must tell Jesus all of my trials;
I cannot bear these burdens alone;
In distress, He alone can assist me;
Wipe my tears, sympathize with His own.
Chorus:
I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus!
Pour out my heart to Jesus alone;
I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus!
He knows, He comforts—Jesus alone.
2. I must tell Jesus all of my troubles;
I cannot bear my burdens alone;
My affairs, only Jesus can shoulder;
Comfort and soothe me—Jesus alone.
3. I must tell Jesus all my shortcomings;
I cannot face my worries alone;
I taste His riches, my need supplying,
More than sufficient—Jesus alone.
4. I must tell Jesus all of my weakness;
I can't o'ercome flesh, lust, on my own;
From law of sin, from all of my bondage,
He can release me—Jesus alone.
5. I must tell Jesus all my temptations;
I can't withstand the tempter alone.
In a like manner Jesus was tempted;
Jesus can rescue—Jesus alone.
