Christian, seek not yet repose

E765 R512 T765
1
Christian, seek not yet repose,
Hear thy gracious Savior say;
Thou art in the midst of foes:
  Watch and pray.
2
Principalities and powers,
Mustering their unseen array,
Wait for thy unguarded hours:
  Watch and pray.
3
Gird thy heavenly armor on,
Wear it ever night and day;
Ambushed lies the evil one:
  Watch and pray.
4
Hear the victors who o’ercame,
Still they mark each warrior’s way;
All with one sweet voice exclaim,
  Watch and pray.
5
Hear, above all, hear thy Lord,
Him thou lovest to obey;
Hide within thy heart His word:
  Watch and pray.
6
Watch, as if on that alone
Hung the issue of the day;
Pray, that help may be sent down:
  Watch and pray.

It's not enough for us to adopt the name Christian, what is enough for us is to do the Master's will.

Heaven has been indescribable, because eyes has not seen, nor ear heard what the Father really has in store for us..

But whatever it is, I know it will be fantastic, for we will all see the golden streets and walk on them

As long as we keep on watching and praying for that unguarded hour.

May the good Lord bless us all.

Watching is not enough, waiting is not enough but watching unto praying is. Therefore, watching unto praying should be the lifetime devotion of a Christian and I am one. A call to unending duty for all. Happy Sunday.

A beautiful song that every Christian should meditate on everyday. For we live in a world of troubleds and deceit, therefore, Christians should watch and pray that they may not fall into temptation.

Obedience to Spiritual instructions is costly, but the end result is priceless ~ Bishop David Oyedepo. The fight to distract and make Christians derail is getting stronger by the day. But what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Christians, watch and pray.
