Joined unto Christ the Conqueror,
  His Calv’ry triumph, too,
Assures me in the darkest hour
  That He will take me through.
2
Joined unto Christ the risen Lord,
  Triumphant now above;
The glory of His cross reveals
  Magnificence of love.
3
Joined unto Christ’s full victory,
  Magnificently free;
Declare it in the conquering name,
  And powers of darkness flee.
4
Joined unto Christ! Magnificent!
  His wondrous Calvary plan,
Draws us through ages to adore;
  For “Worthy is the Lamb.”

The Spirit Entering into Us That We May Be Joined to Christ

---------------

When the life-giving Spirit enters into us, Christ Himself enters into us. We often say that we are joined to Christ and united with Him. But how is this possible? For us to be joined to Christ and united with Him, two steps were necessary. First, Christ had to become flesh and die for us on the cross to solve all the problems between God and us. Second, Christ had to become the life-giving Spirit for us to receive. The moment we believe into Christ, He as the life-giving Spirit enters into us, and we are joined to Christ and united with Him.
