I was in the back yard late this evening. I was thinking of the mess our world is in right now. I realized that a tune had come into my head and I had to work at it, to remember which hymn it was, and to remember the words. Turns out it was this hymn. When I looked it up to view the words to all the verses, I found this post. I have no doubt but what the Holy Spirit put this tune in my head today. I grew up in the 50's and 60's singing this song in church. I am amazed.

As I was riding on Subway to work this morning, the thought of the content of this song as I sang, brightened my heart with all that’s going on in the world since the coronavirus pandemic began.
