Unresting, unhasting, and silent as light, Nor wanting, nor wasting, Thou rulest in might; Thy justice like mountains high soaring above Thy clouds which are fountains of goodness and love.

To all life Thou givest, to both great and small; In all life Thou livest, the true life of all; We blossom and flourish as leaves on the tree, And wither and perish, but nought changeth Thee.

Great Father of Glory, pure Father of Light Thine angels adore Thee, all veiling their sight; All laud we would render, O help us to see: ’Tis only the splendor of light hideth Thee.

Thank GOD for the hymns on here! Grew up with them. Our church still sings them interspersed with other types of today's songs, spiritual songs. We only had hymns growing up ( which we loved and still do) and so nice to have the words which I can now enlarge , because macular degeneration is about the middle stage..... so to have these is such a blessing.
We sang this in elementary school in Jamaica where I grew up. What a blessing this song has been to my soul over the years. Glory to the Most High for ever!
One of the greatest hymns about the magnificence of God. It brings great memories alive of retreats and convocations during my adolescent periods. May His name be praised forever.
What a wonderful hymn. Thanks to God for our hymn makers for leaving us something for ages unending. Let us enjoy the beautiful lyrics and symphony of this great piece. I love music. I will die singing and worship God.
