I first heard this song sung by Lester Roloff in 1971 after I came to Christ. I often think of those precious words, "when Jesus comes the temptors power is broken." Sadly I have often failed my Lord, but gladly He has NEVER failed me.

I first heard this song in fall of 1953 in a youth sing along at my church high school Spring Vale Academy in Owosso, Michigan about 5 yrs ago I found it (w/out looking for it) in Spanish. Thanks to you today I found it in English. You've made my day and God has answered my prayer, by the way my dad was a minister for 69 of his 91yrs, I am 77 yrs old child of God, God bless you.

I've only heard this song sung once when I was a child but I've always remembered the words 'when Jesus comes, the tempter's power is broken'. It has been always been a great encouragement to me. I've been searching for the lyrics. What a blessing to be able to read all the words and sing it again.

McKay, a Pentecostal Holiness evangelist from Canada, sang this song in the late 1940s and early 1950s in the Pentecostal Holiness Church, in my neighborhood in Rocky Mount, NC during one of his revival services there. It is a great song and He comes to mind every time I hear it or think of it. Although he doesn't know it, I am grateful to him for introducing the message of this song to me.
