Über die Zahlennotation

Die Zahlennotation (auch Jianpu oder 简谱 genannt) schreibt jede Melodienote als Zahl von 1 bis 7 statt als Note auf einem Notensystem. Die Zahl zeigt die Stellung der Note in der Tonleiter des Liedes -- nicht ihre genaue Tonhöhe --, sodass dieselbe Melodie unabhängig von der gesungenen Tonart gleich aussieht.

Innerhalb einer Oktave entsprechen die Zahlen 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 den bekannten Solmisationssilben Do Re Mi Fa Sol La Ti. Ein Punkt über einer Zahl hebt sie um eine Oktave an; ein Punkt darunter senkt sie um eine Oktave ab -- ohne Punkt bleibt es bei der mittleren, so geschriebenen Oktave.

Eine einzelne Zahl dauert einen Schlag. Ein Bindestrich (-) direkt nach einer Zahl hält dieselbe Note einen weiteren Schlag lang. Ein Strich unter einer Zahl verkürzt sie dagegen -- ein Strich ist ein halber Schlag, zwei Striche ein viertel Schlag. Eine 0 ist eine Pause: ein Schlag Stille.

Die Angabe oben auf dem Notenblatt, zum Beispiel "1=C" oder "1=Ab", zeigt, auf welcher Tonhöhe die Stufe 1 ("Do") liegt. Ein Lied in Moll trägt stattdessen die Angabe "6=X" -- Stufe 6 ("La") ist dann der eigentliche Grundton. Akkordsymbole über den Noten (wie "C" oder "G7") werden immer mit ihren gewohnten Buchstabennamen geschrieben, nie als Zahlen.

Bei der Angabe "1=C" klingen die Zahlen 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 als C D E F G A B. Bei "1=G" klingen dieselben Zahlen dagegen als G A B C D E F# -- gleiche Form, andere Tonart.

I realized this morning that the thing that causes me so much unrest is when I look at or set my hope on anything other than Christ. Only when I set my heart to love the Lord can I find true rest and peace of mind. This is why the writer of Hebrews encouraged the believers to “Look away unto Jesus” and why Paul says in Roman “the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace”

I heard this hymn/ song when we we're at the car of our host during ICSC2024 , We look for the lyrics when we got home. I find it refreshing , I felt that I need to always renew my consecration to the Lord for His Body.

I've realized that there are times that I lose sight of the meaning of my life. I ask myself over and over again what am I now to do? What is my purpose and goal? It is easy at times for me to fall into this thought pattern when the rest of the world seems to be seeking after so many things. But then I realize:

Loving, living You this way,

Just to love the Lord and experience Him in the Body for the fulfillment of His purpose is now my life's purpose and goal

“Lord we just love you, Fill our hearts renew” As we come daily to the Lord to just love him and be filled with His love toward us and His body, He renews our mind to “have the mind of Christ” and He renews our emotions to love what He loves and how He loves and He renews our will to choose what He chooses.
