Lord, I love You, I desire You

Experience of Christ Loving Him

Neue Lieder156
1
Lord, I love You,
I desire You;
No pleasure, prospects on this earth compare to You.
Lord, I love You,
I treasure You;
No fame nor riches of this world compete with You.
Lord, who have I
In heaven but You,
There’s none on earth
I desire but You;
You are my all,
My All in all;
Lord Jesus, I just love You,
I love only You.
2
Lord, I love You,
I now choose You;
No love, nor praises of men can e’er replace You.
Lord, I love You,
I lay hold of You;
No hope, no expectation I have ’part from You.
Lord, who have I
In heaven but You;
There’s none on earth
I desire but You;
You’re my first love,
My final love;
I give my life and all
To love and follow You.
3
Lord, I love You,
I pursue You;
No person, object in this life can e’er match You.
Lord, I love You,
I run after You;
You are my life, my aim, my goal and future too.
Lord, who have I
In heaven but You;
There’s none on earth
I desire but You;
I give my heart,
Lord, now to You;
Lord make me a drink off’ring here
To satisfy You.

Oh Lord Jesus I love, You are my final love. I have this song in my mobile phone and each time I play it, it reminds me of my Father's great love for me, I love Him because he first loved me. Lord, You are my FINAL love. Amen!

I'm sad and stressed but this song really is my cure. Loving the Lord is part of my life but sometimes I forget about Him. Thank God for His mercy. Our Lord Jesus is really by our side, always. So, I just need to call "o Lord Jesus.." He is really sweet to me.

I like this song because it declares my love to The Lord. May we desire Him more and more. Without Him, what else there is!? NOTHING, O may we love Him more and more everyday and may we declare it to Him!!!!!! JESUS WE LOVE YOU, WE DESIRE YOU, YOU HAVE CONQUERED OUR HEARTS, WE CAN'T LET GO OF YOU, "LORD JESUS, I JUST LOVE YOU, I LOVE ONLY YOU"

Heb. 12:2 "Looking away unto Jesus..." and footnote "The wonderful Jesus, who is enthroned in heaven and crowned with glory and honor (2:9), is the greatest attraction in the universe. He is like an immense magnet, drawing all His seekers to Him. It is by being attracted by His charming beauty that we look away from all things other than Him. Without such a charming object, how could we look away from so many distracting things on this earth?" O LORD, DRAW US, WE WILL RUN AFTER YOU, RAISE A GENERATION OF "CRAZY LOVERS OF JESUS"

I love the tune. It's simple so I can easily remember and the lyrics also simple just to say and to express how we love the Lord.

This song reminds me of how much I need the Lord. Too many times I wander in my mind and are attracted to other things in the world. Praise the Lord that He has loved us first. The Lord simply wants to gain our heart and for us to love Him as our first love. Oh Lord, how I long to love you more and more each day!

Recently I'm aroused with worries & started to ponder over my future & prospects, but when I sang this hymn, I'm exposed to see that I should desire Him above all these & give Him unreservedly my future & my all.
