Christian, seek not yet repose

Prayer The Calling

English765
1
Christian, seek not yet repose,
Hear thy gracious Savior say;
Thou art in the midst of foes:
Watch and pray.
2
Principalities and powers,
Mustering their unseen array,
Wait for thy unguarded hours:
Watch and pray.
3
Gird thy heavenly armor on,
Wear it ever night and day;
Ambushed lies the evil one:
Watch and pray.
4
Hear the victors who o’ercame,
Still they mark each warrior’s way;
All with one sweet voice exclaim,
Watch and pray.
5
Hear, above all, hear thy Lord,
Him thou lovest to obey;
Hide within thy heart His word:
Watch and pray.
6
Watch, as if on that alone
Hung the issue of the day;
Pray, that help may be sent down:
Watch and pray.

How we need His help, we need pray that help may be sent down to us when courage seems small.

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need (Heb. 4:17) Hallelujah!

This is a reminder of 1Peter 5:8... "Be sober, be vigilant, your adversary the devil prowls like a wounded lion, seeking whom to devour"... The devil is not tired of hunting, it is therefore important to watch and pray, study the word of God and Pray fervently to escape the tricks of the devil... God bless you all.

This is a glorious call to all. The Lord told me in 2018 to tell all who are ready to hear that “The last battle shall be tough even the warriors shall run, the strength of the mighty shall fail them but those who lean on me shall sing the new song of victory for l will be their strength” will not fail in Jesus name. Amen.
