Lord Jesus, I love Thee, I know Thou art mine

Experience of Christ Love for Him

English544
1
Lord Jesus, I love Thee, I know Thou art mine;
For Thee all the pleasures of sin I resign;
My gracious Redeemer, my Savior art Thou,
If ever I loved Thee, Lord Jesus, ’tis now.
2
I love Thee, because Thou hast first loved me,
And purchased my pardon on Calvary’s tree;
I love Thee for wearing the thorns on Thy brow;
If ever I loved Thee, Lord Jesus, ’tis now.
3
I’ll love Thee in life, I will love Thee in death,
And praise Thee as long as Thou lendest me breath;
And say when the death-dew lies cold on my brow,
If ever I loved Thee, Lord Jesus, ’tis now.
4
In ages eternal of endless delight
I’ll ever adore Thee in glory so bright;
I’ll sing with the glittering crown on my brow,
If ever I loved Thee, Lord Jesus, ’tis now.

If ever I love Thee, Lord Jesus 'Tis Now (It is Now), not yesterday, not tomorrow, not later today but 'Tis Now. Every minute is a now moment. 'Tis means I love Him continuously because He is so worthy!

Saints, also call on the name of the Lord 'Tis Now!

This song is an enigma, coming to know that a 16 yr old boy is the author is blowing my mind too. The lyrics gets me so intimate with the Lord Jesus. If I have ever loved you Lord Jesus tis now.

It's amazing to me that God's love for me is everlasting love and His mercy endures forever. All glory, honor, power, dominion and majesty be unto the Lord God Almighty who loves us so much and gave us His only begotten son-Jesus Christ. Amen!

I woke up this morning hearing this song in my spirit. I'm just hear to tell God thank you for His love. I desire to know Him more and more and love Him. Thank you faithful servants of God for the edifying testimonies. God bless you and keep you as we wait for that day when we will be all united before Him, praising Him forever and ever. May peace of God be among us. Hallelujah

My Father was expected to pass away but lingered a few days. I had a radio station playing old hymns non-stop. During the early morning hours of December 8, my Dad passed away while this song was playing. The words testify of my Dad's life, as He loved Jesus in his life and is now with Him in his death.
