If from the world you’re longing to be free

The Word of God Saying Amen to the Word

English1218
1
If from the world you’re longing to be free,
Amen the Word of God!
If you would live in all reality,
Amen the Word of God!
Amen the Word of God!
Amen the Word of God!
His Word receiving, His Word believing,
Amen the Word of God!
2
If with your sin and self you would be through,
Amen the Word of God!
If you would let the Lord your mind renew,
Amen the Word of God!
Amen the Word of God!
Amen the Word of God!
His Word is living, life-power giving—
Amen the Word of God!
3
Christ as the land of Canaan is our lot—
Amen the Word of God!
If you would enter, harden not your heart—
Amen the Word of God!
Amen the Word of God!
Amen the Word of God!
His Word discerns us, all that concerns us—
Amen the Word of God!
4
Jesus is coming, now He’s on His way—
Amen the Word of God!
Would you be ready if He comes today—
Amen the Word of God!
Amen the Word of God!
Amen the Word of God!
His Word prepares us, to Jesus bears us—
Amen the Word of God!

Revelations 3:14 These things say the Amen, the faithful and true witness

The gospel of John 1:1 in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The Bible is the Word of God inspired by the Spirit to faithful men. When we touch the Word with our spirit, we touch God’s speaking. We must say amen to His speaking. But even the Amen is from Him. If we want to be free from the world and sin we must Amen the Word. It is the only way. This is much easier said than done.

hymnal dot net is a blessing!

I clicked the play button and it sounds like the tune to "Look to the Lamb of God" but I'm not 100% certain of the title of that song. Could you check to see if the melody is for another song? thank you.
