Many times, I don’t want to turn to Him. Yet in His faithfulness, He will not let me go (Hymn 432). In His wisdom, He allows trials and uncertainties to enter my life- not to harm me, but to draw me back to Himself. These sufferings become the very keys to my growth in life, because they leave me no choice but to CLING to Him with my whole being. And in my moments of deep distress, I learn to take Christ as my daily portion. Not just in comfort, but in desperate dependence.
Thank You, Lord, for Your unchanging faithfulness- for the storms You allow, that I might gain You willingly and know You more deeply.
