Under the shadow of Thy throne
  Thy saints have dwelt secure;
Sufficient is Thine arm alone,
  And our defence is sure.
Under the shadow of Thy throne
  Thy saints have dwelt secure;
Sufficient is Thine arm alone,
  And our defence is sure.

Before the hills in order stood,
  Or earth received her frame,
From everlasting Thou art God,
  To endless years the same.
Before the hills in order stood,
  Or earth received her frame,
From everlasting Thou art God,
  To endless years the same.

A thousand ages in Thy sight
  Are like an evening gone;
Short as the watch that ends the night
  Before the rising sun.
A thousand ages in Thy sight
  Are like an evening gone;
Short as the watch that ends the night
  Before the rising sun.

Time, like an ever-rolling stream,
  Bears all its sons away;
They fly forgotten, as a dream
  Dies at the opening day.
Time, like an ever-rolling stream,
  Bears all its sons away;
They fly forgotten, as a dream
  Dies at the opening day.

O God, our help in ages past,
  Our hope for years to come,
Be Thou our guard while life shall last,
  And our eternal home.
O God, our help in ages past,
  Our hope for years to come,
Be Thou our guard while life shall last,
  And our eternal home.

This Morning in our Church Service while praying, this hymn came to my mind. Though I don't know the lyrics but I googled it.

Indeed my hope for years to come Hallelujah

After studying the word this morning on how helpless Abram always appeared even when he has options of backing out. I laid down my heart and all I hear is

O God, our help in ages past

Our hope for years to come.

I bless God for his word today and I pray that all that believe in him will always rely on him at all times even when it seems foolish to do so.

Hallelujah!

I woke up this morning with thoughts about my past with regrets. While praying in the Spirit, the words of this hymn came to me. I was reminded that the story of the Bible is all about Redemption. Before the earth came to being, God had always loved me and has been my Help and Hope. He created time for us, we pass away and are forgotten, but He is still the same. Whatever, we experience is because of His love. Give Him praise!

Whilst I was doing devotion this morning, I just found myself humming the tune of this hymn. I don't know the words off head so I googled it. The words made clear the extent of God's love for us and that no matter what we are going through, He is ALWAYS close by. I thank God so much this morning for His unconditional love for us. He is Almighty. HALLELUYAH.

Like many others commenting here, this hymn often comes into my mind while I am praying in the morning. From other comments here I have discovered it is a paraphrase of Psalm 90. Thank you all for your comments, I was blessed reading them.

This song just came to my mind after reading my bible immediately I woke up. I quickly googled it because I do not know all the lyrics off hand. I felt happy and safe and will continue to be secure in God's hand. To God be the glory. Amen.

Praise the Lord, we’re praying on 3/3/2021 afternoon in New York, and this hymn came to my mind. I don’t even know the lyrics but I was humming it so after prayers I goggle it and behold it perfectly fits into our prayers. Let somebody shout Hallelujah! Hallelujah

Three years ago, My daughter was in ICU just 3days after her birth. The only song that came to my mind was this one. I don't know if I ever knew the song before this time. But that was what I kept singing. She came out of ICU 7 days later. We didn't do a naming ceremony but her name was Menorah (Zech4:4), Ezumike (God has given me rest). Indeed she is over three years now and is doing so well with a very high IQ. Never fell ill for over a whole year in an area in Nigeria that was plagued with Malaria and Thyphoid and infections.
