Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus

English568

’Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just to take Him at His word;
Just to rest upon His promise;
Just to know, Thus saith the Lord.

Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him,
How I've proved Him o'er and o'er,
Jesus, Jesus, Precious Jesus!
O for grace to trust Him more.

O how sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just to trust His cleansing blood;
Just in simple faith to plunge me,
'Neath the healing, cleansing flood.

Yes, ’tis sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just from sin and self to cease;
Just from Jesus simply taking
Life, and rest, and joy, and peace.

I'm so glad I learned to trust Thee,
Precious Jesus, Savior, Friend;
And I know that Thou art with me,
Wilt be with me to the end.

I was struggling to do my physical therapy homework after an injury and asked Jeses for help, and he immediately did help! This song came to me. Tonya's comment just four days ago perfectly expresses my gratitude.

This song came to my heart this morning and wanted to read the lyrics. I sang it as a child in church.

I was so blessed by the comments of my brothers and sisters around the world. May God increase our trust in Him as we magnify His Name to those around us!

They who trust in him shall not hunger or thirst...

They shall be like Mount Zion and shall never be moved!

I just want to love HIM more and more... May JESUS invade and over flood all of my heart with an undying passionate love for HIM... I want to Love JESUS CHRIST the Son of GOD more and more than life... Over flood and baptize my heart with a love that has no end nor measure.... This hymn blessed just me.

Thank you for this music. I use it to sing both in my own language and in English. I love to praise God, but I do not know how to read or play musical instruments. Love this song! God bless.

While preparing a message for a revival program, this song came up from my spirit. It's a wonderful for one. The message is complete for renewal of commitment to Jesus.

This hymn always comforts and brings me to the presence of the Lord. Pray the Lord will create new hymns and music from my heart for Him and as a blessing to His people.
