Take my life, and let it be

Consecration Surrendering All to the Lord

English445

Take my life, and let it be
Consecrated, Lord, to Thee;
Take my moments and my days,
Let them flow in ceaseless praise,
Let them flow in ceaseless praise.

Take my hands, and let them move
At the impulse of Thy love;
Take my feet and let them be
Swift and beautiful for Thee,
Swift and beautiful for Thee.

Take my voice, and let me sing
Always, only, for my King;
Take my lips, and let them be
Filled with messages from Thee,
Filled with messages from Thee.

Take my silver and my gold;
Not a mite would I withhold;
Take my intellect, and use
Every power as Thou shalt choose,
Every power as Thou shalt choose.

Take my will, and make it Thine;
It shall be no longer mine.
Take my heart; it is Thine own;
It shall be Thy royal throne,
It shall be Thy royal throne.

Take my love; my Lord, I pour
At Thy feet its treasure-store.
Take myself, and I will be
Ever, only, all for Thee,
Ever, only, all for Thee.

I sat in my house praying with my son and reflecting on how to do things that will fulfil The Holy Spirit's Desires and not mine own desires according to Romans 8. I wanted my life to be in tune with God to remember how God has helped me all through my life. So many songs came to my mind. I recall singing Order my Steps in Your word, We will worship the Lamb of glory, There is none holy as the Lord, Every new day your glory unfolds. To round off our devotion, this hymn came to my mind but I was only able to remember the first verse so I decided to google it and I got all this glorious verses. I pray that am able to live according to all the Spirit filled words because this hymns just summed up what I was desiring in my daily life. God You are awesome, meeting us always at the very point of our needs. Thank You Sweet Holy Spirit for this song of Consecration in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen and amen!

Verse 5 is my heart’s prayer. If I only know how that can be made possible. May the Good Lord bless you. Amen.

The lyrics are divine whenever the song comes to mind it gives me a sense of consciousness about the work of God.

Lord, I use this divine song and I consecrate my spirit, soul, and body to You. As I seek You continually, I continue to be holy, blameless, without spot or blemish in the power of my Holy Spirit in Christ Jesus name.

Just got up with this song in my heart, God is good I'm giving my life, heart and mind to him on the 17th of Feb. 2018 and this is the song he gave me to praise him all day today. I love you Lord accept me today and don't ever let me go.

Glory be to God. This is my earnest prayer during this 50 days fasting and prayer of RCCG.

Please how do I slow down the tempo of songs?
