Consecrate me now to Thy service, Lord,
  By the pow'r of grace divine;
Let my soul look up with a steadfast hope,
  And my will be lost in Thine.
Consecrate me now to Thy service, Lord,
  By the pow'r of grace divine;
Let my soul look up with a steadfast hope,
  And my will be lost in Thine.

O the pure delight of a single hour
  That before Thy throne I spend,
When I kneel in prayer, and with Thee, my God,
  I commune as friend with friend!
O the pure delight of a single hour
  That before Thy throne I spend,
When I kneel in prayer, and with Thee, my God,
  I commune as friend with friend!

There are depths of love that I yet may know
  Ere Thee face to face I see;
There are heights of joy that I yet may reach
  Ere I rest in peace with Thee.
There are depths of love that I yet may know
  Ere Thee face to face I see;
There are heights of joy that I yet may reach
  Ere I rest in peace with Thee.

.... similar to the last post, I woke up this morning with the beginning of this hymn singing in my heart but I couldn't remember all the lyrics.

This song is a blessing to the repentant heart that wants peace with God so more than the folly of this present world we live in!

Praise God! I was thinking of the hymnal "consecrate me Lord" not remembering the hymnal is, I am thine, O Lord. Thanks so very much for being here.

I felt far away from God. I thought of getting closer to my LORD. The Holy Spirit sent this song to my thoughts immediately. Thank You LORD, for speaking to me. I feel honoured to be led by Your Spirit. Glory & Honour, Majesty & Praise to Your Holy name. Thank you for this media access. What a blessing!!!

I can't sleep yesterday night until in the morning around 5:15 am. Around 3:00 am, I got a song, "I am Thine, O Lord, I have heard Thy voice. Consecrate me now to Thy service, Lord". Some tears can come down with that assurance. I searched for the song, sang a couple times and slept around 5:00 am in the morning".

Yes LORD, now I confirmed Your voice. Thank You for choosing me.

I was at work yesterday... and standing I heard these words..."I am Thine Oh Lord" I am familiar with the song. But yesterday this song gave me a greater meaning than just singing the words, but meditating on what this song meant in that moment. And what Holy Spirit was reminding me of. I am Yours oh God. God was reminding me Natheira you belong to Me. Always love this song.

At the verge of seeking God's face towards His divine direction in fulfilling Purpose/Destiny, after reading the book of Ephesians... I was led to sing this hymn... Closeness to God reveals his mystery.... I particular love the second stanza.... God draw me nearer daily to Yourself I pray in Jesus name.

I remember my mom and grandmother singing this hymn to us children when they were trying to get us to go to sleep. No I am 32 years old with children of my own and I often find myself singing this hymn to them when im getting them to go to sleep. It's just so heart felt and so catchy. I love it and will always hold it dear to My heart. My grandmother has now passed away and this song reminds me of her Everytime I sing it. I pray that my children will song it to their children some day.
