Thou my everlasting Portion

Obviously this hymn stirs up the Divine treasure that lyes dormant in all being. The experience it invokes, rather the emotion it arouses in all who sang or listened to it confirms the statement by Anthony De Mello, that everything the universe is made of is contained in a single fly. Thou my everlasting portion.

This hymn this morning reminded my that by strength shall no man prevail. It's all by His mercy that we are still in the Faith.

I feels touched really when listening to this song. There is no any other person that we should be close to, apart from God. How I wish to be you to update more songs.

Wonderful hymn, indeed He is our everlasting portion.

Bedrock of hope, indeed God is my everlasting portion. May I be close to Him all my days.

Timeless hymn. So refreshing and reassuring.

I am constantly and daily brought to my consciousness by this heart-touching hymn.

This hymn daily reminds me that without Him, I am nothing and I can't accomplish anything. It teaches me that real life consists of daily walking close with Him. I sing this hymn every time weeping in His presence.

What a classical song! I have known from my youthful age as a choir member. And in my close to Jubilee year it still sounds to me as ever before. Passionately sung anytime I sing it then. I thank The Lord today. I felt same as ever before. Lord let me walk close to Thee until I finish my course here.

Mine! How shall I not be a sensible, genuine and passionate Christian with this sort of mindset. God bless the brain behind this site.
