Thou my everlasting Portion

Powerful hymn.... Very awasome presence of God

Great hymn of commitment to follow through it all.

Oh Jesus! What a song!

This hymn bring restoration to my soul 🙇🏾‍♀️

This hymn is one of the spiritual hymns, that gives peace of mind and focus on Jesus as a good friend in difficult times. I just recieved my peace. Glory to God for sending the Holy Spirit to bless me through this hymn, am very grateful and thank you very much. Shalom.

This is one of the inspiring hynmnal song l have ever heard in my life. About twenty years ago it's always fresh in my spirit

After being so disappointed and rejected by a love one a while ago. With tears in my eyes walking up my stairs. I begin to sing "Thou art my everlasting portion more than friends you are to me. Close to thee O Lord.

Thank you Holy Spirit for your indwelling.

Recently, I heard the song being sang to me in the dream. I saw it as a message to me from the LORD. Praise God.

As I was reading my daily devotions from Jesus Calling, one line in the meditation said “How much better is it to walk close to Me, depending on My strength and trusting Me in every situation. ” I stopped right there and thought of this wonderful hymn. I found it under Close to thee, but love the first line…Thou my everlasting Portion. I have been studying that word for a few days, Portion, as it applies to our Christian life and our eternal home with the Lord. It never ceases to amaze me that GOD will reveal songs and scriptures for me as I try to understand a particular topic. We are truly Blessed to be here and, one day will be with Him forever . God Bless you all.

This song gives me goose bump set a peace to my soul and serenity leaving me spiritually fill and carms my spirit knowing that God is more than friend to me and that God will continue to draw me closer to him .
