Fill Thou my life, O Lord my God

We have seen Christ as reality. We all know He is real and our Savior. But in our daily walk, in every part of our living, what is He to us? This hymn shows the writer’s desire to have constant fellowship with God and to let his entire being express Christ in all the little areas of his life. “So shall no part of day or night from sacredness be free, but all my life in every step be fellowship with the”. This is real abiding.

I committed my life to Jesus Christ at age 7.

At 14, I joined a Girls' Methodist Boarding School. From the first day, I sang and prayed this hymn. Today at 72 years of age, I have sang it again as part of my morning devotions. May my whole life continue to speak of His being and His ways.

Fill every part of me with praise;
Let all my being speak
Of Thee and of Thy love, O Lord~!

"But all my life, in every step, be fellowship with Thee"

This hymn is a great reminder as I begin my day engaging in the ordinary and sometimes mundane routine of life.

Lord, may we take You in every aspect of our lives.

Giving Thanks for God's Grace and Mercies. This is the hymn that saturates my spirit.

This hymn reminds me of my days as a teacher, and was sung at morning devotion assembly. It was a favourite hymn for my brother-in law, who was a lay-minister at the Anglican Church.

It always reminds me to be thankful to God for my family, my health and my work. To God be the Glory!!!

This hymn is in my spirit today we used to sing it in middle school but I didn't understand the depth of it,,I just love the way He reassures one, in hymns and His Word.

From the day I listened to this song, my life changed. O Lord, my God, I want to serve You all the days of my life.
