Surely every hour we need Him. From hour to hour we do not know what situations will confront us. We may say hallelujah or amen in the meeting, but when we get home, our joy may vanish, and instead of hallelujah and amen there will be silence and a long face. A problem has arisen. Or we may get chilled and catch cold. Whatever the problem, Christ is there taking care of our case. He bears us when we have a long face or are ill. His interceding never ceases. His ability to take care of us is unlimited because He is the almighty God. His priesthood is an interceding ministry in the heavens, in the Holy of Holies, before God for us.

I need Thee every hour most gracious Lord and while I am struggling to find work as a temporary resident and have not received any income and the financial burden is hard on my family. My wife is now the sole breadwinner. Her faith in our Lord is strong as she carries our family. I work hard to find employment and pray continually while calling on the name of Jesus Christ to help me during this stressful time. This beautiful hymn, sung so well has moved me to tears. Let us all pray for each other around the world, from many different cultures and creeds, but all one family of Christ, as we need our Lord every hour.

I do need my Lord and Savior and His guidance and surpassing peace! I love Him and trust Him, though just yesterday have felt anxiety, responsibility, fear and heavy burdens overwhelm me. This is not normal for me. I NEED You, Lord Jesus, to be my constant companion. I need You to wash away my fears. I desperately need Your joy and peace and incredible love to envelop me from within and without.
