Amazing Grace

1
Amazing grace! how sweet the sound,
  That saved a wretch; like me!
I once was lost, but now am found,
  Was blind, but now I see.
2
'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
  And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear
  The hour I first believed!
3
The Lord hath promised good to me,
  His word my hope secures;
He will my shield and portion be
  As long as life endures.
4
When we've been there ten thousand years,
  Bright shining as the sun,
We've no less days to sing God's praise
  Than when we first begun.

I stand amazed every time I hear this song. Though I am a singer, I count it nothing each time I think of Gods amazing grace for me. I think I have to personally sing this song to show my awe of what Jesus has done for me on that Cross.

God is love. He wants all to turn away from their sins because Christ died for everyone's sins on the cross. For all who listen to the voice calling from the wilderness asking them to turn away from sins and leave the pleasures of the world, God has a place prepared for them. A place that no one has ever witnessed in the world. A place full of life and peace and joy and all of God's greatness and glory. A place where there is no night or day for Christ the Lord is the light that shines in there. A place where there is just worship and thanksgiving to God the Creator of all that is and there ever will. God is love. Whoever knows God, knows of love for there is no other love greater than His love. For He loved the world to hand over His son Jesus Christ to the world to be tortured to be hated to be seen as a sinner to be hated so much that the world had to crucify Him on the cross like deserted vermin, something the world needed to get rid of, and yet He overcame and did all God commanded and now He lives forever full of power, to deliver all who seek Him and who want to walk on the same path He did so they may live as He does and be happy forever in God's presence. May God's name be forever praised.

We are familiar with the hymn "Amazing Grace." Although this is a good hymn, it does not speak of the Triune God as our portion for our enjoyment. When this hymn was written, the experiential knowledge of God among the Lord's people had not come to this point. Even as recent as fifty years ago, Christians did not have the understanding of grace as the Triune God experienced and enjoyed by us. But standing on the shoulders of those who have gone before us, we have come to know that grace is far more than merely unmerited favor. Grace is the Triune God—the Father, the Son, and the Spirit—processed for our experience and enjoyment.
