Naught have I gotten but what I received

What a blessing to be continually reminded of this great act of grace. I could only weep when I was singing the last verse.

That's who I am – Only a sinner saved by Grace.

Sometimes I forget the glory of his grace and am tempted to cheapen it, but this song reminds me.

I pray for more of God's sanctifying grace for myself and all who know His salvation. AMEN

I hope to sing this song at Cameo Sunday at Bethany Church Houghton-le-Spring this year.

I've been studying 1 Corinthians 15 and this song came to mind. I learned it in church when I was a child.

This great hymn was written at the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. Dr, Gray, the thirds president of Moody wrote the lyrics. D.B. Towner, who was the chairman of the music department for many year, composed the music. To God be the glory. God bless the school that D.L. Moody founded.

This Hymn touches the very heart of my soul. Whenever I listen I the deep love of Jesus in the face of all my wretched and filthy nature. I am always in awe of HIM.

This classic hymn touches my soul in a very fresh way. It reminds me of the amazing love of Christ who humbled Himself and became obedient to death—even death on a cross! so that a sinner like me will be saved. This is an amazing story of the assurance and the joy of our salvation.

We can't make on our own, it's by the grace, the grace and the grace only.

I really like this hymn. It reminds me of home where we use to sing it in Swahili using the book of songs called "Nyimbo za Mungu" meaning songs for God.

Fortunately I took a book before leaving.
