Now as the symbols we behold,
Thy loving self we see anew;
We thank Thee for Thy heart's desire

We eat the bread and drink the wine,
And to Thy sweetness we are led;
In spirit each receiving Thee,

What a great hymn! The saving power of the Lamb of God has once again being revealed by this hymn. This hymn reminds me of the revelation of the Apostle John in the book of Revelation where he saw that the saints overcame the adversary with the blood of the lamb. That the we are saved only the precious blood of the LORD JESUS shall remain the only TRUTH IN TIME AND ETERNITY. When we enter the celestial city, all the saints shall sing this hymn to the glory of the LORD JESUS.

Wonderful hymn. Our hearth should be full of thanksgiving to Him who done it all for us. This hymn, reminds me of the wedding that took place in Cana of Galilee. There the Lord, turned one of the their worldly pleasures into an eternal pleasure. No doubt that! only those who serve their Master knows where this wine come from...Hallelujah for the best wine.

This hymn reminds me of the greatest miracle God ever performed-He raised Christ from the dead to become the life-giving Spirit so that we can receive Him into us to be our life and everything. Hallelujah!!
May the Lord cause us to appreciate this miracle more and more by enjoying Him as the Spirit in all we are and do. Amen.
