Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised

Thanks. I now know the correct lyrics. God bless.

May I forget my right arm if I forget you, Oh true swim. I am on my first visit to Israel at the Sea of Galilee preparing to go to Jerusalem today and this song has been in my mind. We have not sang it in church for one or two decades but I still remember the words and the melody. I was blessed to find it on this site

I knew the man who wrote this song. His name was Robert Ewing from Waco TX. The lyrics should be "beautiful for situation" just like the scripture says! Not "elevation".

Many thanks for this site. It helped me learn the correct lyrics. I did not know that it was beautiful in elevation, I used to sing beautiful for all situations. This song really blesses my heart. God bless you huge.

Read the psalm and wanted to hear this song. Thank you.

Praise to the Lord!

Thank you for having this website. This song was ringing in my spirt 5 o'clock this morning and to have the music with the lyrics just exuded my spirit with abundant joy.

One of my favorite songs from sunday school. However we also sang it with a bridge which doesn't seem to be included here. Anyway the words are as follows if anyone is interested along with chords in Fmajor.

(F) One body, (Bflat/Asharp) One spirit, (F) One faith, (C7) One Lord, (F) One people, (Bflat/Asharp) One nation, (F) praise (C7)ye the (F)Lord…..

Each note is played in common time with the exception of "Praise ye the Lord" which is played…… (F) 2 beats….. (C7) 2 beats…..(F) 4 beats

i woke up this morning and heard "proclaim what I believe". I am working on a Christmas float with maybe a little procrastination due to cold weather and somthing holding me down. Today I feel great and plan on finishing. I don't know how why I happen on this site but am blessed by this site. I am looking for a very special song that pertains to 1 Cor. 15:3-4. This gospel must be proclaimed.

This song brings down the presence of God to my heart........
