Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised

I came back from church today and took a nap and saw myself singing this song in my dream I woke up and continued the song. Like everyone else I needed to know the right version of the song and I got it here...feeling elevated already

This has been one of my favourite songs as far back as 1980s while in secondary school. In fact, the message I gave in the church on Sunday was "Great is the Lord" - Psalm 48:1. Thanks, God bless you.

I've been looking for this hymn for only God knows how long. The rhythm have been in my heart since age 3. You can't imagine how well my spirit blends with it. Thank you.

This song just came to me right in my office and it brought tears to my eyes with a calming effect. Needed to know every word of it. Glad I found it here.

I am to deliver a talk in chapel this morning. The Lord woke me up past 2 am. As I was writing songs to talk about, I dosed off and woke up singing this one 'Great is the Lord. Psalm 48:1-2. I browse to know more, and I found this site. Great is the Lord...'It's one of the most popular worship song in Nigeria! Others include; there is none Holy as the Lord... By Hanna 1 Sam 2:2, Thou art worthy O Lord Rev. 4:11...by 24 elders, Be blessed as you praise Him today!

I had a dream and saw the mighty house of God being constructed in the dream. The house was so great and beautiful that I started singing this song. I had to wake up to see if I can get the song and the place it is in the Bible so that I can always read it to remember this dream. God is great.

I sang this hymn all night, woke up and continued..it, sang it all through may way to this office through a thick Lagos traffic, Had to google it for the correct lyrics ...bless God I am here...., This is an amazing song, Zion is in the north side of King David's palace...I must be in Yerusalem someday ..Great God, Great song, Great King, God bless Yisrael...

I learnt this song from my Parents while growing up in Northern Nigeria. My Dad really loves this song and the picture of my Dad singing this song during Family devotions keeps coming to mind as I sing this song. #GreatIsTheLord

I learned this scripture song as a praise song in Northern California in the mid 1970's. So glad to find it again.
