Keep my heart always burning with my best love to love You,
Keep my eyes pure and simple with a view to see only You,
Loving You, surely there’s no better way,
Drinking You, saturate me thoroughly today.
Keep my eyes pure and simple with a view to see only You,
Loving You, surely there’s no better way,
Drinking You, saturate me thoroughly today.
How long! How very long You’ve waited patiently for me,
How long! How very long You’ve waited for Your bride to be.
(How long)

Keep my lips (so quick to anger) full of grace to speak forth You,
Keep my ears firmly planted in my spirit to hear You,
By Your blood, cleanse me from my every sin,
By Your word, sanctify me more and more within.
Keep my ears firmly planted in my spirit to hear You,
By Your blood, cleanse me from my every sin,
By Your word, sanctify me more and more within.

Set my hands in constant labor on the land to bring forth You,
Set my feet swift and able going forth to bring good news,
On the cross, You have won the victory,
On the throne, You’re interceding every day for me.
Set my feet swift and able going forth to bring good news,
On the cross, You have won the victory,
On the throne, You’re interceding every day for me.
