Lord, You are more precious than silver

Praise of the Lord His Preciousness

1
Lord, You are more precious than silver;
Lord, You are more costly than gold;
Lord, You are more beautiful than diamonds;
And nothing I desire compares with You.
2
Lord, Your life is divine, eternal.
Lord, Your life regenerated me.
Lord, Your life is growing within me,
Until I am fully conformed to Thee.
3
Lord, Your love is wide as the ocean.
Lord, Your love is deep as the sea.
Lord, Your love encompasses the nations,
And that is all I want to live in me.
4
Lord, Your light is shining within us;
Lord, Your light drives darkness away.
Lord, Your light is guiding us onwards,
Preparing us for the coming wedding day.

Beautiful message and accompanying music. Thank you for lighting truth in a darkening world. GOD and His son and Mary, Joseph and your loving children and saints are always in my heart. Although I am alone in this world, I know all of YOU are above in a far better place. Pray for me as I pray for you..

Ever since I was a very, very young child, I have always had a very strong and clear singing voice, and the first verse of this one hymn in particular has become the hymn that I always sing in a time of fear. I do not know why this hymn became the one, in fact, I do not remember learning it or even ever hearing anyone else sing it, but this song pulled me through many fears that I experienced. As I sang, the fear would slowly leave, until one day I no longer feared. The Lord has become my strength, and I can honestly say that I do not fear anything anymore.

My Pastor introduced us to this hymn and l just fell in love with it. The Lord is so

precious in our lives, if only we had the revelation of how precious He really is! Lord help us see that!

I cannot thank you enough for posting this song. I have listened to it and sang it over and over this July 4th weekend 2013. Our 3 grandchildren 4, 5, 10, hovered around my computer as we sang the lyrics with this precious accompaniment. They all learned it and LOVED it and sang it outside when we camped out. The Holy Spirit inspired the lyrics and this piano music. Rejoicing with you in Christ.
