Christ is everything, I need Him

新歌162

Christ is everything, I need Him.
He is everything you need, believe Him.
Life is a person, receive Him,
Open up your heart and sing.

Open yourself to the new creation.
Open your eyes to the joy of change.
Life is a fruit of God’s creation.
Every new birth is a soul regained.

Drinking His life from a living fountain.
Sweet water running inside of me.
Oh, how I love to live on the mountain,
Ever since Jesus set me free.

Also verse two we learned as a silver fountain. I can see a living fountain, also a silver fountain denoting redemption.

I missed verse three also. It reminds me of the horses in Pharaoh’s chariots. Song of Songs 1:9. In our zoom meeting tonight we sang this.

This is one of my favorite songs. My favorite verse is verse 3 which is missing and given in an earlier comment. The reason I love verse 3 is it reminds me of Deuteronomy 6:5, the Old Testament verse quoted the most times in the New Testament: "You shall love Jehovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might."
