Hast thou no scar?
No hidden scar on foot, or side, or hand?
I hear thee sung throughout the land,
I hear them hail thy shining star,
Hast thou no scar? no scar?
No hidden scar on foot, or side, or hand?
I hear thee sung throughout the land,
I hear them hail thy shining star,
Hast thou no scar? no scar?

Hast thou no wound?
Yet I was wounded by the archers, spent,
Leaned Me against a tree; and rent
By ravening beasts ’round Me, I swooned:
Hast thou no wound? no wound?
Yet I was wounded by the archers, spent,
Leaned Me against a tree; and rent
By ravening beasts ’round Me, I swooned:
Hast thou no wound? no wound?
Hast thou no wound?
Yet I was wounded by the archers, spent,
Leaned Me against a tree; and rent
By ravening beasts ’round Me, I swooned:
Hast thou no wound? no wound?
Yet I was wounded by the archers, spent,

By ravening beasts ’round Me, I swooned:
Hast thou no wound? no wound?

No wound? no scar?
Yet, as the Master shall the servant be,
And pierced the feet that follow Me;
But whole? can he have followed far
Who has no wound nor scar?
Yet, as the Master shall the servant be,
And pierced the feet that follow Me;
But whole? can he have followed far
Who has no wound nor scar?
No wound? no scar?
Yet, as the Master shall the servant be,
And pierced the feet that follow Me;
But whole? can he have followed far
Who has no wound nor scar?
Yet, as the Master shall the servant be,
And pierced the feet that follow Me;
But whole? can he have followed far
Who has no wound nor scar?

Zechariah 13:6
King James Version
6 And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.

Gal 6:17. Henceforth let no one trouble me, for I bear in my body the brands of Jesus.

I was reminded of this sweet hymn as I read that for Christ to make His home in my heart, and for Him to have a way in the church, that is to build it, the breaking of the outer man is both crucial and vital. Amen Lord gain what You desire.

I enjoyed singing this hymn and was reminded afresh that all things work together to conform us to the image of Christ (Rom. 8:28-29): "...Yet, as the Master shall the servant be..." Praise the Lord!
