Have Thine own way, Lord

Consecration Yielding to the Lord

English449
1
Have Thine own way, Lord,
Have Thine own way;
Thou art the Potter,
I am the clay.
Mould me and make me
After Thy will,
While I am waiting,
Yielded and still.
2
Have Thine own way, Lord,
Have Thine own way;
Search me and try me,
Master, today.
Whiter than snow, Lord,
Wash me just now,
As in Thy presence
Humbly I bow.
3
Have Thine own way, Lord,
Have Thine own way;
Wounded and weary,
Help me, I pray.
Power, all power,
Surely is Thine,
Touch me and heal me,
Savior divine.
4
Have Thine own way, Lord,
Have Thine own way;
Hold o’er my being
Absolute sway.
Fill with Thy Spirit
Till all shall see
Christ only, always,
Living in me.

I tend to remember this song just now cos I really want Jesus to save me from all my addictions.

I hope he does it cos I want him to accept me and mould me.

Have thine way Lord♥♥♥

After reading and praying Isaiah 64 this morning, my heart and mind was drawn to this hymn. I don’t recall the last time our church sang the hymn. Beautiful words of prayer. Thanks for making the hymn available to enjoy and to be blessed by.

We need this song—and its sentiments—now more than ever in these uncertain times.
