Just as I am, and waiting not
To rid my soul of one dark blot;
To Thee whose blood can cleanse each spot,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!
Just as I am, and waiting not
To rid my soul of one dark blot;
To Thee whose blood can cleanse each spot,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!

Just as I am, though tossed about
With many a conflict, many a doubt;
Fightings within, and fears without,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!
Just as I am, though tossed about
With many a conflict, many a doubt;
Fightings within, and fears without,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!

Just as I am, poor, wretched, blind;
Sight, riches, healing of the mind;
Yes, all I need, in Thee to find,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!
Just as I am, poor, wretched, blind;
Sight, riches, healing of the mind;
Yes, all I need, in Thee to find,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!
5
Just as I am, Thou wilt receive,
Wilt welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve;
Because Thy promise I believe,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!
Just as I am, Thou wilt receive,
Wilt welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve;
Because Thy promise I believe,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!

Just as I am, Thy love unknown
Has broken every barrier down;
Now, to be Thine, yea, Thine alone,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!
Just as I am, Thy love unknown
Has broken every barrier down;
Now, to be Thine, yea, Thine alone,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!

God did not call the righteous but sinners unto repentance. No matter what you’ve done in life no matter where you are, COME He will receive you just as you are it’s an open invitation, COME.
I heard this song when the evangelist billy graham would have crusades world wide! I really enjoyed him thru out my young days. I am in my 60’s and I still love to hear his old sermons.

I was blessed and move by these lyrics, which were added to the end of a devotional on the Jesus quote “ come to me all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest ..
They explained further the meaning of His invitation ....

The older I get, the more complicated I am in my relationship with the Lord. I am full of what I should be doing, acting and behaving as a believer. I believe all the expectations I place on myself becomes a barrier between me and my Lord. This song says it all…Oh Lamb of God I come I come. Unconsciously we think we need to become something or do something or be something in order to come forward to God, however, He is the lamb of God who has accomplished everything for us by His work on the cross. He is not asking us to be or do anything except come forward to him; not just one time in our life for salvation but daily, moment by moment for our continual supply. As we come forward to Him, he breaks every barrier in our being down. He is able to save to the uttermost those who come forward to God. (Heb 7:25). This morning the Lord is calling me to stop being so complicated and be simple again. His calling is just to come and open to His life flow and allow His life within me to be what it needs to be.

I heard this at the Franklin Graham God Loves You tour 12 November 2022 what a spiritually moving moment it was as people moved to the front of the auditorium to give their lives to Jesus Christ our Lord and saviour,
