God has set His sign, a rainbow, Midst the rainy clouds above; ’Tis the token of His cov’nant With the man and earth He loves; Ne’er again to send a deluge, Hence His faithfulness is told! He is true to every promise, And His changeless word we hold!

May the meaning of the rainbow Be our full reality; In the church and in our living, God expressed for all to see; ’Round the throne in that bright City, Grateful voices we shall raise: “God is faithful in salvation! Shout to His eternal praise!”
Cherubim signify God's glory (yellow), the flame signifies God's holiness (red), and the sword indicates God's righteousness (blue). God closed the way to the tree of life by means of these three items. These attributes of God placed requirements on sinful man which he was unable to meet. Fallen man was not permitted to contact God as the tree of life until Christ fulfilled the requirements of God's glory, holiness, and righteousness. He fulfilled these requirements by His all-inclusive death on the cross which opened a new and living way for us to enter the Holy of Holies and partake of the tree of life. The Lord Jesus stepped out of eternity and into time to become a man and to die on the cross to satisfy the requirements of God's righteousness, holiness, and glory. Then He was resurrected. Christ is now our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption. He is also our glory. May we experience Christ in such a subjective way. The more we are saturated, permeated, and filled with these divine attributes, by Christ making His home in our heart, the more His attributes are reflected and dispersed through our heart and our soul. What will be manifested are the aromatic human virtues filled with the rich and bountiful divine attributes of God. This causes not only a reflection but also a dispersion of the "multicolored" God in all His rich and bountiful attributes. This is our hope and our future, that together we would express our dear Triune God as a rainbow, corporately. (from message 9 of Ezekiel winter training 2017)
