God’s Kingdom today is a real exercise, But when Christ comes to reign it will be a great prize; It is wisdom divine that we now may be trained That His plan be fulfilled and His justice maintained.

Today we must learn to submit to His throne, How to have a strict life and His government own; His authority then we’ll be able to share, O’er the nations to rule with God’s Son as the heir.

With a life strict to self we must righteousness hold, Kind to others in peace, and with God joyful, bold; In the Kingdom’s reality e’er to remain, For its manifestation prepared thus to reign.

For this the Apostle pressed on at all cost, For the Kingdom assured that he would not be lost; ’Tis for this he charged others, Be true to the Lord. That the Kingdom might be unto them a reward.

I enjoyed this hymn today after finding it in this morning's home meeting reading of:
Week 4 Day 5 of:
"The Great Need for a New Revival
The Holy Word for Morning Revival"
... Thus, the kingdom is the Lord Jesus as the seed of life who has been sown into us and who grows in us until He reaches maturity at the time of harvest... The growth of the seed within us is the process of the kingdom.
..
The appearance of the kingdom of the heavens, Christendom, is related to the nominal Christians. The church and the kingdom of God are related to the saved ones. The reality of the kingdom of the heavens and the manifestation of the kingdom of the heavens are related to the overcoming believers. (CWWL, 1972, vol. 2, “The Kingdom, ” pp. 16-17, 454-455)
Praise the Lord, the shining One, the seed who was sown and produced such a rich ministry!
Thank you Lord for this call to overcome, for the small gatherings and for all the saints all over the world.
O Lord, give us grace for Thy Kingdom to live,
To be trained that Thou may the reward to us give;
Make the Kingdom’s reality our exercise,
That its manifestation may be our great prize.
Hallelujah! God’s Kingdom today is a real exercise!!! Praise the Lord 😀
Much grace Lord
Much grace Lord
O Lord, give us grace for Thy Kingdom to live,
To be trained that Thou may the reward to us give;
Make the Kingdom’s reality our exercise,
That its manifestation may be our great prize.
To be trained - amen
God’s children, we’re born to be kings with His Son,
And we need to be trained that we may overcome
And to know how to rule in His kingdom as kings,
That His kingship thru us be expressed o’er all things.
Colossians 1:13 Who delivered us out of the authority of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of His love.
To be transferred into the kingdom of the Son of the Father's love is to be transferred into the Son who is life to us. The Son in resurrection is now the life-giving Spirit. He rules us in His resurrection life with love. This is the kingdom of the Son of the Father's love. When we live by the Son as our life in resurrection, we are living in His Kingdom enjoying Him in the Father's love.
O Lord, give us grace for Thy Kingdom to live,
To be trained that Thou may the reward to us give;
Make the Kingdom’s reality our exercise,
That its manifestation may be our great prize.
Lord Jesus, we aspire to be Your overcoming believers in this age who will rule, reign, and feast with You in the millennium! We love You, Lord Jesus, and we love Your appearing! Praise the Lord! 😀
v. 6 “For this the apostle PRESSED ON at all cost…”
FYI - at the bottom right of the song is an icon. Click and links to information on author…and another icon “bio” click for W. Lee, W. Nee (if they are the author), extensive information n you can send. Also, some have a link to send to Twitter, X - you can tell out the word there…
Lord Jesus gain us for your kingdom in this age and the reward in the next!
"Since entering into the kingdom of the heavens also requires doing the will of the heavenly Father, it is clearly different from entering into the kingdom of God by being regenerated (John 3:3, 5)."
(Life-study of Matthew, p. 302)
Make the Kingdom’s reality our exercise,
That its manifestation may be our great prize.
