As I was considering these verses in the Word of God this morning, this hymn came to me. In such a dark age, we can stand against the evil tide, and shine forth Christ!
“They profess to know God, but they deny him by their works” – Titus 1:16
“Some having a form of Godliness but denying its power” – 2 Timothy 3:5
“False prophets come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves” – Matthew 7:15
“As Eve was deceived by the serpent's cunning, your minds may be led astray from your simple and pure devotion to Christ” – 2 Corinthians 11:3
“Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil” – Ephesians 6:11
