Does Jesus care when my heart is pained
Too deeply for mirth or song,
As the burdens press,
And the cares distress,
And the way grows weary and long?
Too deeply for mirth or song,
As the burdens press,
And the cares distress,
And the way grows weary and long?
O yes, He cares, I know He cares,
His heart is touched with my grief;
When the days are weary,
The long night dreary,
I know my Savior cares.
His heart is touched with my grief;
When the days are weary,
The long night dreary,
I know my Savior cares.

Does Jesus care when my way is dark
With a nameless dread and fear?
As the daylight fades
Into deep night shades,
Does He care enough to be near?
With a nameless dread and fear?
As the daylight fades
Into deep night shades,
Does He care enough to be near?

Does Jesus care when I’ve tried and failed
To resist some temptation strong;
When for my deep grief
There is no relief,
Though my tears flow all the night long?
To resist some temptation strong;
When for my deep grief
There is no relief,
Though my tears flow all the night long?

Does Jesus care when I’ve said “goodbye”
To the dearest on earth to me,
And my sad heart aches
Till it nearly breaks,
Is it aught to Him? Does He see?
To the dearest on earth to me,
And my sad heart aches
Till it nearly breaks,
Is it aught to Him? Does He see?

Having so much bills to pay. Not that I don't work, but the Hurricane Florence having affected my business associates, I haven't been able to pay my staff, pay other bills running to tens of thousands of dollars.
With calls coming in and Satan trying to highjack the situation to cause anxiety which I have seriously rejected with all vigour. And then after my Sunday communion, this powerful son is what comes to mind.
We go through things in diverse forms, shapes, sizes, colours and definitions, but regardless the threats from the pit of Gehenna, Jesus cares, and his heart is touched with our pains, shames and embarrassments.
Regardless what we are going through, His secret hands will find us, because His open heart loves us and His gracious glory will rub on until His mighty power will take us to the place of His mercies wherein we can testify.
Death defeated, pains abated, and shames washed away and His glory we behold.... Testimonies we offer and praises He keeps for Himself.
Alleluia....!!!

We go through so many things in our lives, and sometimes our storms seem to get so bad; rather than getting better, they seem to get worse. When there seems to be no end in sight of all the pain, the anguish, suffering torment, of all the agony. Sometimes we began to wonder, where are You Lord; “Lord, do You care? ” Lord, I’m Your child. Do You care that I am suffering; Do You care that I have pain wrecking my body; Lord! Do You care?
1 Peter 5:6-7 (KJV)
6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: 7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

I have just spent 12 dreary days and weary nights racked with pain for which there was minimal relief. When the Spirit prompted me to search for this song, I found this site and all these encouraging affirmations of God's love from around the world. They have truly comforted and rested my soul. I am starting to improve, physically and emotionally.

A year ago, when on her death bed in hospital, surrounded by family and members of our church, my mom requested that we sing this song together. Today as I sing this song and read the words I am truly touched and reassured.
In my mother's time of pain and grief she knew Our Saviour cared.

Our family lost my brother 9 months ago. He was only 28. This is a hymn that God has brought to my mind twice, since his passing. The first time, it was only days after the tragedy & my focus was the last verse. It was a comforting reminder that He cares when we lose those dearest to us.
Today, when He brought this hymn to my mind, my focus was on the 3rd verse. Wow! He cares --still, even when I fail Him. What a good, loving Father we have!
I was also encouraged to see all these comments from people who've been impacted by this hymn around the world. 🌎
