要在生命裏長大，我們必須注意我們的靈；（羅八6；）我們必須認識、運用並操練我們調和的靈（提前四6～8）：
以弗所一章十七節給我們看見，我們需要禱告求智慧和啟示的靈，好充分認識基督和神的經綸。
二章二十二節說所有信徒正同被建造，成為神在靈裏的居所。
三章五節說基督的奧祕已在靈裏啟示祂的聖使徒和申言者。
十六節給我們看見我們需要禱告，使我們得以加強到裏面的人裏；裏面的人就是我們重生的靈，有神的生命為其生命。
四章二十三節告訴我們要在我們心思的靈裏得更新。
五章十八節告訴我們要在靈裏被充滿。
六章十八節告訴我們要時時在靈裏禱告。
主靈在哪，哪裏就有自由~~
願主用聖靈充滿我，將我倒空將我剝奪。 願我全人歸主管理，沒有任何暇疵.斑點.皺紋，使我變成主榮形流出活水江河。
