It dawned on me, like a wonderful light, that to open one's heart to the Lord is not just to unload all of our frustrations and feelings. Many cases I don't even know where to begin because I do not even know or understand what I am feeling. We can open our heart by praising the Lord. The goal of an open heart is not merely to unload, rather the goal is to breathe in Christ.

I appreciated this song this morning. The Lord does take pleasure in who we are in ourselves or what we can do for Him in ourselves, but that we would simply present Him as our offerings to God and through His sacrifice for us come to Him to rest in Him, opening all our heart to Him. The issue of such will be a life of peace and infinite gratitude from us to Him. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for loving us sinners just as we are and becoming our infinite plenitude, Hallelujah!
