Heads up: piano recordings may drift slightly out of sync with the highlighting.

The gift of righteousness is measured in abundance, The depth of His love I’ll never understand. His love reaches me and you; His mercy goes farther too. The One on the throne of God is called the Lamb.

Matt 9:13 But go and learn what this means, "I desire mercy and not sacrifice, '' for I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners.
This verse is in the context of when the Pharisees asked Jesus' disciples why he was eating with the tax collectors and sinners. The Pharisee's concept was that these ones should be judged. But the Lord wants to show grace and mercy to all for all are sinners. Just some do not realize it.
Lord, give us the clarify to see our pitiful condition and desire You as our grace and mercy.
For if, by the offense of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.
