Surely every hour we need Him. From hour to hour we do not know what situations will confront us. We may say hallelujah or amen in the meeting, but when we get home, our joy may vanish, and instead of hallelujah and amen there will be silence and a long face. A problem has arisen. Or we may get chilled and catch cold. Whatever the problem, Christ is there taking care of our case. He bears us when we have a long face or are ill. His interceding never ceases. His ability to take care of us is unlimited because He is the almighty God. His priesthood is an interceding ministry in the heavens, in the Holy of Holies, before God for us.

I am spending a day set aside to enter deeper rest. But said to the Lord that I was finding it hard to enter in. I heard this little tune in my ear... and the words “oh God how I need You”! Thank You Spirit for helping me, guiding me and teaching me through these words today.

The Holy Spirit reminded me of this hymn as I prayed and acknowleged that I need God each step of my business pursuit. As God answered the prayers I raised unto HIM concerning an issue in a new project in my hands I thanked HIM and reminded God that I need HIM all through each step of my way. God is real.

I knelt before God this morning searching for divine strength to overcome sexual and lustful desires especially with the new relationship. I want to stay pure but I'm struggling and this song came to me as I read that it is only God that can help me stay pure. So LORD help me!!!

I was driving home tonight, a long drive in the dark and rain. Unfamiliar roads. I've recently moved from a small town to a big city 1 1/2 hours away. Even though I have new glasses, I am blind in one eye and night driving is a challenge. The rain made it worse. As I crept along slowly, I prayed asking God to help me see the way. This hymn came to mind, but I couldn't remember all the words. I looked this up when I got home. Thank You, God.
