More than ever, this morning, as showers of rain was coming down, I felt an impulse to sing this song because I really felt the showers of blessings around my family and I. As I sang the lyrics, I prayed the words for favour on my son, for overwhelming favour as he goes for his thesis defense. God be praised now and forever, Amen

Just heard this sung by the Mayberry church choir. Touching and so sweet. It was season 1 episode 25 of Mayberry RFD. I have never in my 64 years on earth have needed the the rain of the Lord's blessings as I do know.
"Summer rain taps on my window" I have made so many bad decisions I beg of the Chosen One to reach me through my mostly self-inflicted darkness to reach me with his perfect Love and Forgiveness.
