All hail the pow’r of Jesus’ name (Medium)

1
All hail the pow’r of Jesus’ name!
  Let angels prostrate fall,
  Let angels prostrate fall;
Bring forth the royal diadem,
  And crown Him, crown Him,
  crown Him, crown Him;
  And crown Him Lord of all!
2
Ye chosen seed of Israel’s race,
  Ye ransomed from the fall,
  Ye ransomed from the fall,
Hail Him who saves you by His grace,
3
Sinners, whose love can ne’er forget
  The wormwood and the gall,
  The wormwood and the gall,
Go, spread your trophies at His feet,
4
Let every kindred, every tribe,
  On this terrestrial ball,
  On this terrestrial ball,
To Him all majesty ascribe,
5
O that with yonder sacred throng
  We at His feet may fall,
  We at His feet may fall!
We’ll join the everlasting song,

Praise God that we have the witness of Edward Perronet, who even back in the 1700's knew that the Earth is a "terrestrial ball"!

People were really inspired by the Holy Spirit in those day to compose meaningful songs like this. O God help us in our age again.

The hymn puts me in the right frame of mind. Thank you Jesus for the miracle you have started in my marriage.

This song has been playing in my head. May God bless the composer. I believe that Jesus Christ is Lord. I have nothing to lose if I die and find out that he's not the Lord.

I have always loved this hymn. I just had to sing along. It has been a long time since I heard this wonderful tune. Just think, one day we will fall at His glorious feet and offer our sacrifice of praise through the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. His name is so powerful that every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of the Father. Thank you for sharing!
