We used this song a lot. Tune is very good for young children. But if we sing "God is glad", may conveys some religious concept to the children since God does not want just a good man but a God-man. It may contradict with the truth that the children will receive in the future. So we change "God is glad" to "We are glad". And by singing "We are glad", it matches our experiences as well. If you agree to my concern, would you change the lyrics?
