All my life long I had panted
For a draught from some cool spring,
That I hoped would quench the burning
Of the thirst I felt within.
For a draught from some cool spring,
That I hoped would quench the burning
Of the thirst I felt within.

Feeding on the husks around me,
Till my strength was almost gone,
Longed my soul for something better,
Only still to hunger on.
Till my strength was almost gone,
Longed my soul for something better,
Only still to hunger on.
Feeding on the husks around me,
Till my strength was almost gone,
Longed my soul for something better,
Only still to hunger on.

Poor I was, and sought for riches,
Something that would satisfy,
But the dust I gathered round me
Only mocked my soul's sad cry.
Something that would satisfy,
But the dust I gathered round me
Only mocked my soul's sad cry.
Poor I was, and sought for riches,
Something that would satisfy,
But the dust I gathered round me
Only mocked my soul's sad cry.
Something that would satisfy,
But the dust I gathered round me
Only mocked my soul's sad cry.

Well of water, ever springing,
Bread of life, so rich and free,
Untold wealth that never faileth,
My Redeemer is to me.
Bread of life, so rich and free,
Untold wealth that never faileth,
My Redeemer is to me.
Well of water, ever springing,
Bread of life, so rich and free,
Untold wealth that never faileth,
My Redeemer is to me.
Bread of life, so rich and free,
Untold wealth that never faileth,
My Redeemer is to me.

With Him we shall never be panting anymore!!! we should just keep on enjoying Him! Whatever we need, He is! Hallelujah!

This morning as I was meditating, the words came to mind: Hallelujah, I HAVE FOUND HIM WHOM MY SOUL SO LONG HAS CRAVED. It was such a refreshing feeling, a sense of awe and wonderment: I Have FOUND HIM... What a blessing!!!!!

Nothing satisfies except Him!

Praise You, Lord, that You are the only One who can satisfy us. Thank You for choosing and calling us out!
But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall by no means thirst forever; but the water that I will give him will become in him a fountain of water gushing up into eternal life. (John 4:14)

Hallelujah! We have found Him
Whom our soul so long has craved!
God has put eternity in man's heart so that He would only be the One who could fill us. He is the eternal One who is our real satisfaction. Anything that is not of Him would only cause us to crave for more. We are so lucky that we have Him.

Lord, thank You for satisfying me with Yourself.

I have always heard the lyrics as "Hallelujah! He has found Me" rather than "I have found Him!"
I think the song has so much more power we we sing that He has found us, because it so clearly articulates our need.

Amen. Truly that God is the only One who can satisfy our longing. Praise the Lord that He is so available to us. We need to pursue and run the race today so that in the coming kingdom age we will reign with Him. Hallelujah!
