God's Choice!

Christ was seeking for fine pearls, for one of great worth
And found it.
And just like a merchant, He sold all he had
And bought it.
This was…

God's choice: the pearl of great value!
What is my choice? I will stand with the Lord!
I choose, the church of great value!
I will make this choice, to give all I have for the church!

Lord, You view her so highly, the church Your dear bride.
What great love.
You paid such a high price, a great sacrifice

It is worth it today to, give all that I have
For the church.
I now see the value, and pay such a price
For this pearl.
I choose…

Now we're home in the oyster, oh, what an enjoyment
To stay here!
His life flows around us, He's making us precious
He's so near.
We are…

Now we’re home in the oyster, oh, what an enjoyment
To stay here!
His life flows around us, He’s making us precious
He’s so near.
We are
God’s choice: the pearl of great value!
What is my choice? I will stand with the Lord!
I choose, the church of great value!
I will make this choice, to give all I have for the church!

We had our conference on the topic The Church: The Pearl of Great Value, and this song was one that really touched me. You never really understand how much the Lord loves us, loves the church, until you read the word. He gave all that He had for us. So now, when we are home in the oyster, we need to enjoy it! He makes us precious and He is so near! Let's choose God's Choice!
