I am made so awesomely
And so wonderf'ly—
Inward parts and hidden part—
That I might know Thee.
Jesus, Lord, I come to Thee,
With an open heart.
I, my spirit exercise—
Inward, hidden parts.

Lord, I turn my heart to Thee.
Take my veils away,
Purify my heart to see
Thee through all my days.
Lord, I give my heart to Thee.
How I love Thee so!
Make Thy home in all my heart,
Through my being flow.

I, my spirit exercise,
Nothing outwardly.
By my spirit's function—three—
I may contact Thee.
Touch my conscience thoroughly.
I, my sins confess.
Enter into fellowship,
Oneness with Thee sense.

Living God, I come to Thee.
From dead works save me.
Purify my conscience, Lord,
That I might serve Thee.
Daily, I now exercise
All sins to confess.
That my conscience clear may be,
Void of all offense.

Now I am in Penuel,
Face to face with God.
With an open, loving heart,
Spirit exercised.
Conscience, mind, emotion, will,
I will dig away,
That through me Thou may'st flow
Freely day by day.

May our living be no longer according to our natural inner being but in the inward parts of Christ Jesus. Lord Jesus, we choose to live such a life, and by Your mercy give us the experiences we need to live in the inward parts of Christ for the Body of Christ! Praise the Lord 😀

In Philippians Paul says, "Let this mind be in you" referring to the considering in verse 2:3 and the regarding in 2:4. To have such a mind requires us to be one with Christ in His inward parts (Phil. 1:8). To experience Christ, we need to be one with Him to this extent, that is, in His tender inward feeling and in His thinking.

O Lord Jesus we come to Thee. Do draw us with an open heart to exercise our spirit.

Living God, I come to Thee.
From dead works save me.
